DREAM Academy
DREAM Academy is a free, comprehensive after-school program that has proudly served Arcola Lake Elementary for the past seven years. Designed for students in grades K–8, the program provides daily academic support, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) enrichment, mentorship, sports, health and wellness activities, and engaging field trips. With a focus on low-income and underserved youth, DREAM Academy creates opportunities that are typically only accessible to more affluent peers, helping scholars grow academically, socially, and personally.
Serving up to 100 students each school day, DREAM Academy operates from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and includes healthy snacks, tutoring, enrichment workshops, and safe transportation home. By eliminating barriers to access, DREAM Academy gives parents peace of mind while empowering students to thrive in school and beyond. Since 2015, the program has supported more than 12,000 DREAM Scholars across Miami, nurturing a generation of young leaders and dreamers.
